No. He’s not my hero. Never has been and never will be.
You will find there are many popular tech people and companies that I do not agree with and therefore, I don’t use their products or services. For instance, I don’t use Windows or Apple operating systems. I use Linux. I prefer open and transparent software.
At 55 years of age, I have mastered the art of listening to my internal Bull Shit meter. If someone treats others poorly, makes money off of them with scams and commits crimes of any kind, I shun them, their companies and their politics. Case closed.
I don’t sit at the feet of tech idols and drool. Neither should you.
